United Air Suspends PetSafe Program Following Mishaps

Following an incident last week where a puppy died after being placed in an overhead bin, United Air CEO Oscar Munoz commented saying the airline ‘got it wrong.’ The incident was followed by a collection of other animal mishaps by United Air, leading to suspension of their animal cargo shipping program, PetSafe, to make improvements.

United Airline Sued for 2015 Assault

United Airlines have yet again been sued by another customer, this time for $1million, after an assault occurred in the George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston in 2015. After a video of the assault was made public, United Airlines issued an apology to the 71 year old man, who was shoved to the ground by a UA employee and left motionless and unattended despite there being other UA employees around. United Airlines said in the statement that the employee’s behavior was “completely unacceptable” and he is no longer working for the company.
