Murder Suicide by UPS Employee

In a UPS delivery center in California yesterday, a UPS worker opened fire at three of his colleagues, killing them, before shooting himself. Two people who were injured by the gunfire were taken to the hospital, and five others suffered less serious injuries from escaping the building. Police stated that this was not an act of terrorism.

Founding Father of Grunge, Chris Cornell, Death Ruled a Suicide

Chris Cornell, 52, the frontman of Soundgarden and Audioslave, was found hanging in his hotel room early Thursday morning. His friends and family were shocked at the news, his wife telling media that he was not depressed and this was a sudden shock for her to learn. He was active on twitter just hours before his death, currently on tour, he was scheduled to perform in Columbus, Ohio, on Friday at the Rock on the Range festival.

Aaron Hernandez’s Murder Conviction Overturned

Yesterday the court overturned Aaron Hernandez’s, former tight end for the New England Patriots, murder charge. This decision is not unusual as Hernandez, who committed suicide last month, had not exhausted all of his appeals to the court yet. Judge E. Susan Garsh said, “the court has no choice.” The victim’s mother claims, in her eyes Hernandez will always be guilty regardless of the court’s ruling.
