The brother of Manchester bomber Salman Abedi has been found guilty of the murders of 22 people killed in a suicide bomb blast at an Ariana Grande concert in the city. Hashem Abedi was convicted of 22 counts of murder. His older brother, Salman Abedi, detonated a bomb which killed 22 concertgoers and injured hundreds more — many of them children and young people — as they left Manchester Arena in May 2017.
Information regarding Monday’s terror bombing in London has been leaked by the US government agencies to the media. Subsequent to a complaint by the Britain’s Prime Minister, Theresa May, Donald Trump condemned the information coming from the US government agencies as a breach of security. In a statement, Trump said, “I am asking the Department of Justice and other relevant agencies to launch a complete review of this matter, and, if appropriate, the culprit should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law”. After the disclosures, British police has decided to briefly halt sharing information with U.S. agencies.
