North Korea Says it’s Cutting Communications with South Korea

North Korea will shut down a liaison office it shares with South Korea by noon on Tuesday, along with other official communication lines including a hotline between its leader Kim Jong Un and South Korean President Moon Jae-In. State media Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) said the country was cutting communication lines because South Korean authorities had “connived” to carry out “hostile acts” against North Korea.

Prince Andrew won’t be Extradited to US

Prince Andrew won’t be extradited to America for questioning over his links to Jeffrey Epstein, the US attorney general has said. William Barr told Fox News the Duke of York’s involvement in the case against the convicted pedophile “isn’t a question of handing him over” but a matter of “having him provide some evidence”. US federal investigators have been trying to speak to Andrew for months about the disgraced billionaire.

Iran Says it will Execute Man Convicted of Spying on Soleimani for CIA

An Iranian who spied for U.S. and Israeli intelligence on slain Revolutionary Guards commander Qassem Soleimani has been sentenced to death, Iran said on Tuesday, adding the case was not linked to Soleimani’s killing earlier this year. On Jan. 3, a U.S. drone strike in Iraq killed Soleimani, leader of the Revolutionary Guards’ Quds Force. Washington blamed Soleimani for masterminding attacks by Iran-aligned militias on U.S. forces in the region.
