Popular British radio host Gavin Ford was found dead at his home in Lebanon on Tuesday. Ford hosted a breakfast show for the Lebanese station Radio One. Security sources have indicated that Ford’s death appears to be murder. Sources claim Ford was strangled with his hands behind his back. Lebanese police have started an investigation.

Deadly Gas Explosions in China

At least 23 people were killed and 22 injured on Wednesday when a series of explosions occurred during delivery of acetylene to a Chinese chemical manufacturer. The series of chain reaction explosions left 50 vehicles damaged. The explosions took place near a chemical plant in China’s northern Hebei province. Authorities say all fires were extinguished.

Sydney Hit With Torrential Downpours

Australia’s largest city Sydney was hit with torrential downpours and strong winds on Wednesday causing flooding, loss of electricity, and chaos for commuters. At least two deaths were caused by the storm. This is the heaviest November rain the city has experienced since 1984. Over 100 flights were canceled or delayed at the international airport.
